Data breach: what we know now
A few weeks ago, we had to bring you some unpleasant news. It appeared that PME had been affected by a data breach at a software supplier. Were your data involved in that data breach? If so, you will have been informed about this personally. For the time being, please remain alert to suspicious emails and telephone calls. If you don't trust it, hang up the phone, click away the email, and never share personal data. Go to our website for the latest news and answers to key questions.
PME funding ratio increased
In the first quarter of 2023, our funding ratio increased slightly. This is because the investments gently found their way up. The funding ratio indicates whether we have enough money to pay all pensions. Now and in the future.
Right to be heard when switching to a new pension
The Netherlands is introducing new rules for pensions. What does this mean for your pension at PME? That is not certain yet. What we do know is that you will have the right to make your voice heard about the switch to a new pension. You will be personally informed about this. You will receive your pension on these dates
In the coming months, we will pay your pension on the following dates:
- Monday 24 April 2023
- Tuesday 23 May 2023
- Thursday 22 June 2023
- Monday 24 July 2023
It will depend on the bank whether the money will be in your account on the same day.
24 May: VGPME meeting in Heerenveen
For the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic, the Vereniging Gepensioneerden PME (PME Pensioners Association, VGPME) is organising a regional meeting, this time in the north of the country. Everyone who receives a PME pension is welcome to attend, even if you are not yet a member of the association. This free meeting will be held in the Abe Lenstra stadium in Heerenveen on Wednesday 24 May, starting at 1.30 pm. On the agenda are the new pension rules and a tour of the stadium. Would you like to attend? Then register on the VGPME website. Good to know: you can park for free in car park P1 directly in front of the stadium and then enter via entrance A.

What do our participants think of investment yields and risks? And what do they expect from a good pension? This is important to know. Because the Netherlands is introducing new rules for pensions.
